In this unpredictable weather it’s always a good idea to have a safe outfit that you feel comfortable, yet sexy in! Mix and match your high black leather ankle boots with a digital printed top and shiny black leggings for an urban inspired look. You can even add a tangerine lipstick to give your ensemble a touch of difference and bold colour!
Never fear – you can still team up a pair of boots with more formal outfits and occasions! Simply opt for a sleek boot design with a flattering silhouette and slim heel, to keep in tone with the feminine ensemble. Dare to clash bold prints together this season… The key in Summer is to have some fun and dress outside the box! xx
Rosemount Australia Fashion Week!
Last week was that time of year again when talented designers showcased their wonderful new collections at the infamous Rosemount Australia Fashion Week! For all you lucky ladies and gents that attended, you’d know what a phenomenal event it was.
One show I’d like to particularly mention is the gorgeous collection by Australian label, Miss Unkon… if you look closely, you’ll see Wittner’s amazing Panama boot! The stunning Navajo inspired designs in light pastels perfectly complimented the boots, especially with Miss Unkon’s clever idea of mix and matching coloured laces! What a innovative way of updating a pair of black ankle boots!

With so many beautiful creations and designs, it was extremely hard to pick favourites. However, below is a small snippet of some stand out looks from the wonderful week. There was an array of bright, bold hues, from cobalt blues, to hot fuchsias to lime greens… what a relief to finally see some colour!

A lucky Wittner girl spent the long awaited Easter break at one of the greatest festivals this year – Byron Bay Bluesfest! And what a fun-filled weekend away it was!
The amazing line-up of great artists was just the beginning. With remarkable performers such as Bob Dylan and BB King, it was guaranteed to be a once in a lifetime experience. Each day was filled with different, wonderful music and of course, the beautiful Byron sunshine (and amazing festival food). The crowd was a mishmash of personalities, styles and ages so we thought we would capture these unique looks and share them with you.
So we strapped a camera on our lovely Wittner girl and away she went!
From vintage ankle boots teamed with frilled socks, to strappy nude tone sandals, there were so many fantastic individual looks. However, there was one trend in common amongst the crowd and that was… Gumboots! They are an absolute festival must-have and Bluesfest was no exception. So if you love the gumboot trend, you’re in luck because Wittner’s new Wellington boot has just hit in stores and online! Slip these on in the cooler months and don’t just limit yourself to festivals – wear them anywhere and everywhere this season!
