All of our Wittner shoes begin first as an idea sparked here at home in our Melbourne studio. Here, our Designer, Tess, talks to the creative process behind each of our collections.

Beginning first with researching local and global trends, fabrics and colours, the team then takes a look back to previous collections, looking at how we can update iconic styles for modern times. From here, our designers then move on to sketching the new designs before briefing the production team to make magic happen.

Crafting Fashion With Function

Beyond the trends, Tess and the product team’s designs reflect the classic Wittner ethos. “We’ll look at bestsellers and constructions that we still really like,” she says, adding “The Wittner customer loves a bit of hardware.”
